Two weeks, two cakes with macarons! This Sweet 16 cake had a bit of a twist with meringue kisses and stars. The cake was a lemon cake with raspberry buttercream filling all covered in a sky blue buttercream with hints of pink and white buttercream to create a watercolor effect.
Simple and sweet.

The best part of making custom cakes and goodies is being able to take a theme and tweak it to what the client wants. Sofia wanted a Kate Spade themed sweet 16 BUT she didn’t want the usual black/white/gold colour scheme, she wanted ROSE GOLD!
We made Sofia a two tier rose gold/pink/white cake with gorgeous sugar flowers dusted to match the cake perfectly. We topped the cake with a “16” glitter rose gold topper.
We also made matching sugar cookies that were used as favors. We wrapped them in a nice cellophane bag with a customized tag.
But that’s not all!! Sofia had a second party where we made matching cupcakes.
What a fun theme!!!
